The Unmade Photograph

When I was little, my grandpa and I used to run around his house and make up little songs. I’d bang spoons together and he’d play the guitar as we’d make laps around the house, waking everyone up with our songs. I wish I had these moments captured; I think it’s a great example of pure childhood joy and I miss the way that their house used to be decorated. They had tons of antique lamps and cozy furniture, as they lived in a log cabin. It might not seem super deep on the surface, but it was such a pivotal aspect of my childhood and the memories I have in that house were the start of many of my creative interests.
